Research shows that in 2018 there were about 18.1 million new Cancer patients identified. That means about 18.1 million new people who all stand the chance to lose their lives despite their gender, age or race, despite what they still wanted to do in life or what their purpose is. Most of those people will never be able to experience some of the things that we experience day after day and take for granted.
I have reached a point in my life where I have realized that enough is enough. We as humans do not exist merely for ourself or our pleasure and until you don't realize that your life has not yet completely begun. Nothing belongs to us, not your house, your car or even your beautiful long hair. A small sacrifice that you are brave enough to make has the power to empower so many other people and give them the courage to do the same. If every single person commits do doing their small acts of kindness our small acts of kindness can become something so much bigger.
Matthew 6:19-21 says "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, were moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also ". Something that we accept as obvious might be something that someone else can only dream of. No, I am not at all suggesting that we should all cut our hair to show that we are kind. People show kindness in many different ways, It doesn't matter how you show it, just show it.
Being kind does not cost you anything, but it is one of the most priceless things you can give to anyone.
